The Fallist movement in South Africa, among other points, called into question the relevance of maintaining aspects colonial heritage, especially as they relate to knowledge construction at African higher education institutions. issues transformation and decolonisation also came limelight with some students calling for decolonisation/Africanisation science a system knowledge, hence #ScienceMustFall. These can be placed wider context argument that centres learning are founded on epistemologies forms education. It is notably reality impedes project proper learning. Utilising desktop methods, this article engages debate universities 21st century. Based Francois Lyotard's postmodern views, theorises possible philosophical grounding decolonisation. argues openness subjectivity enterprise construction, integration mainstreaming systems universities.
